CherryPop slot by Avatar UX studio is the third game in the PopWins series, following PopRocks and WildPops, released earlier this year.
While two prior slots in the series had an Asian feel to them, CherryPop has a more classic theme. A pink neon light frames the expandable 5x3 playing area where you can see some well-known symbols spinning - grapes, watermelons, oranges, horseshoes, four-leaf clovers, bells, diamonds, cherries, and card ranks.
CherryPop is a highly volatile game with an RTP of 96.2% and a maximum potential of x56,386 your stake.
Every win activates the PopWins feature - the winning symbols disappear from the screen, and in the place of each one, two new ones pop up. The reels expand to accommodate them, to up to 6 rows high in the base game.
When you fully unlock the reels in the base game, the Free Spins feature will trigger. During the Free Spins, the reels can expand up to 9 symbols high. The reel progress does not fully reset between each spin; it will only reset down to the shortest reel.
Free Spins round includes a progressive Multiplier. The feature opens with an x2 multiplier, and after each pop-round, it increases by 1. If you fully unlock the reels during the Free Spins, you will get an immediate +3 multiplier and an extra +3 multiplier for every winning pop-round.
Before entering the bonus round, you have the option to gamble your free spins on the Gamble Wheel. Winning will give you more spins, and losing takes you back to the base game.
To get straight to the Free Spins, you can go for the Bonus Buy priced at 75x your bet.
CheeryPop does not have the distinct looks or the character of the previous PopWins games. However, it is a nice take on a classic fruity slot with brutal volatility and matching potential.
