Craps Live by Evolution Gaming is a live online version of a classic dice game that takes place in a sleek studio, reminiscent of a 20s speakeasy.
The goal of the game is to predict the outcome of the roll of two dice that the automatic Shooter throws. The rules of the game might seem overwhelming if you never played before. We will go over the rules below, and you can always use the interactive tutorial built into the user interface, as well as the Easy Mode that will simplify the gameplay.
Each round of the game of Craps has two phases: Come Out and Point.
The game begins with a Come Out roll where you bet on Pass Line or Don't Pass. These bets are betting on the outcome of the round.
The Come Out rolls continue until a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 is rolled, which then becomes the Point. The dealer then turns the OFF button to the ON side and moves it to the Point number, signaling the second phase of the round. The Shooter will roll the dice until either a 7 (Seven-out) or the Point comes up.
With either the Point or a 7, the round concludes, and a new Come Out roll starts.
During the Point roll, there are Come/Don't Come and Odds bets available.
Come and Don't Come bets have the same rules as the Pass Line/Don't Pass bets.
Supplementing your bets on Pass Line/Come is referred to as Taking Odds. If you do it on Don’t Pass/Don’t Come it is called Laying Odds. Odds will win together with your original bet.
Anytime during the game, you can also make Proposition bets. All Proposition bets except for Win/Lose and Hardways are single-roll bets.
The RTP for Craps varies between 83.33% to 99.17%, depending on your betting strategy.
Behind the dealer, you will see two boards updating as players place their bets - Top Number (top five dice totals the players are betting on) and Popular Bets (top five bet spots). There is also a live chat you can use to interact with other players and the dealer.
Evolution did an admirable job adapting another land-based casino classic and bringing Craps Live to our screens.
