1. Introduction
This cookie policy (the "Cookie Policy") explains how Viewer Atlas Ltd., a Maltese limited liability company, reg. no. C 115970, with registered office at 206, Wisely House, Triq l-Ifran, Valletta, VLT 1451, Malta ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and platform available at casinolytics.com (the "Platform").
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, available at https://casinolytics.com/privacy, which describes how we process personal data. For any questions regarding this Cookie Policy, you are welcome to contact us at privacy@casinolytics.com.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owner of the website. Cookies may be "session cookies", which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent cookies", which remain on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them.
We also use similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, which are collectively referred to as "cookies" in this Cookie Policy.
3. Cookies We Use
We keep the use of cookies and similar technologies on the Platform to a minimum. We currently use the following:
- Strictly necessary cookies: These cookies are essential for the Platform to function, for example to enable you to log in to your user account, maintain your session, and ensure the security of the Platform. These cookies cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Security cookies (Google reCAPTCHA): Where enabled on our demo and pricing forms, Google reCAPTCHA sets a security cookie in order to distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic and to protect the forms from abuse. This cookie is set by Google and is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
- Theme preference (local storage): Your theme preference (such as light or dark mode) is stored in your browser’s local storage. This information remains on your device only and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
- Analytics (cookieless): We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the Platform is used. This service is cookieless, meaning it does not set cookies or store any identifiers on your device.
We do not use any marketing or advertising cookies on the Platform.
An up-to-date list of the specific cookies used on the Platform, including their names, purposes, and retention periods, is available in the cookie settings on the Platform.
4. Consent
When you first visit the Platform, you will be presented with a cookie banner through which you can accept or decline the use of cookies that are not strictly necessary (such as the Google reCAPTCHA security cookie). We will only place non-essential cookies on your device with your prior consent, in accordance with applicable law, including the GDPR and the EU ePrivacy Directive.
You can withdraw or modify your consent at any time through the cookie settings on the Platform. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal.
5. How to Manage and Delete Cookies
In addition to the cookie settings on the Platform, you can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. The methods for doing so vary from browser to browser; please refer to your browser’s help menu for instructions. Please note that if you block or delete cookies, some parts of the Platform may not function properly, and you may need to log in again or re-enter certain preferences.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies and similar technologies on the Platform are provided by third parties, currently Google (reCAPTCHA) and Vercel (web analytics). These third parties may process information collected through such technologies for their own purposes as independent data controllers. The processing of personal data by such third parties is governed by their own respective privacy and cookie policies, and we encourage you to review them.
7. Amendments
The Company reserves the right to amend this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. The latest version of this Cookie Policy will always be available on the Platform, and we advise you to review it periodically for any changes.
